30 years in the industry.
One name behind it.
I’m Nic Burroughs, and Applied Hydraulics Taranaki is my own business after 30 years in the industry.
The name pays homage to my mentor and first employer, Dave Nance, who took me on as first employee for his then fledgling company, Applied Hydraulics and Prop Maintenance. Over those 30 years I’ve seen plenty of change in the hydraulic industry, and gained a wealth of knowledge and contacts to fill in the gaps.
“I’m there for the little jobs too, keeping your priority running, be it farming, fishing, or timber processing.”
While I cover all hydraulics, my specialty is industrial process and automation. I help maintenance teams work through issues where they fall just short of the technical knowledge, and put together training packages that have been used across a number of companies.
